US deploys military aircraft at Greenland base amid Trump’s acquisition push

The military aircraft “will soon arrive” at the Pituffik Space Base in Greenland, according to the North American Aerospace Defence Command, which said the deployment would support long-planned regional defence operations. The United States is set to deploy aircraft to a strategic military base in Greenland, the U.S. military said, as tensions rise over President Donald Trump’s renewed push to acquire the Arctic territory.
