Overall Pass Percentage Stands at 85.03 Percent

Srinagar, Jan 14: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education has declared the Class 10th Annual Regular examination results for the October-November 2025 session, bringing relief to thousands of students across the Union Territory.

According to the official result analysis released by the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education, a total of 94,845 students appeared in the examination, out of which 80,650 qualified, registering an overall pass percentage of 85.03 percent. Boys recorded a pass percentage of 84.30 percent, while girls outperformed with a success rate of 85.78 percent.

Subject-wise performance showed encouraging trends, with Social Studies recording the highest pass percentage at 96.50 percent, followed by Urdu at 94.50 percent and English at 91 percent. Mathematics and Science both registered a pass percentage of 90 percent, while Hindi stood at 86.36 percent.

In the Kashmir Division, 69,525 students appeared in the examination, of whom 60,927 qualified, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 87.63 percent. Urdu and Social Studies emerged as top-performing subjects in the division with pass percentages of 96 percent and 97 percent respectively. Mathematics recorded a pass percentage of 91 percent, while Science stood at 91 percent.

The grade-wise distribution across the Union Territory showed 16,550 students securing A1 grade, 14,398 A2, 16,014 B1, 17,519 B2, 13,623 C1, 2,525 C2 and 21 students falling under grade D.

The Board data further revealed that 11 cases were marked under disputed eligibility, 33 examinations were cancelled, four students were disqualified for one year and 72 subject results were cancelled. In the Kashmir Division, eight examinations were cancelled, four students were disqualified for one year and 36 subject results were cancelled.
